Check out Florida's fossil history on one of our Fossil Hunting Tours-
Screen sift or snorkle in one of Florida's shallow rivers or streams, find remains of ancient sharks, whales, dolphins, fish, saber-tooth cats, jaguars, mammoths, mastodons, camels, tapirs, horses, sloths, giant armadillos and much more.
Join us and discover your own piece of history– one that you can actually hold in your hand! Unlike a fishing trip, you'll always come home with something- these day trips are safe, fun and educational. Experience genuine Florida eco-tourism.
Fossil-Hunting Tours- We offer walk-in or canoe fossil tours. These tours generally take place on the Peace River in the towns of Zolfo Springs, Wauchula and Arcadia and are approx. 1 hr east from Sarasota.

Eco-Tours- Paleo Discoveries now does Eco-Tours. Take in the wildlife and scenery on one of our canoe trips when you visit the most beautiful waterways in Indian River County.
Store- Fossils, display materials, shirts, books and more. Many of the products featured on our online store are available during our tours- just ask! How about a gift certificate for someone special?
Kid's Digs- Have your child’s next party be one he or she will never forget - go on a local fossil dig with Paleo Discoveries! We meet at local sites in the Vero Beach/Sebastian area and find all kinds of genuine Florida fossils millions of years old that we will help your partiers find and identify. After the dig, we give each party-goer an identification chart and display box to “show off” the finds! Many of the fossils are larger shark teeth, stingray and fish fossils and bones. Who knows what else your group could find? Call and book your party today- spaces are limited.
